As part of my yr 13 gap year program, we get the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Fiji! There, we will be spending a month with the locals, visiting churches and ministering to and with the people. I’m super exited to meet the families there and see how God is working in a completely different culture on the other side of the world. We are going to meet with, support, encourage, train, and equip the local people and ministries already happening there, but I’m also super exited gain a greater knowledge and love of God and His world, by seeing it firsthand. I hope and pray that this mission trip will blow open my idea about how big God is, and that this will translate into personal long-term engagement in mission and sharing the gospel.
